SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie status sassa and there is no totally functional office committed to service the area each day. The company place designed for sassa intervention experiences a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to enable the servicing of all clients and enhance use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
